Nathan Buckley has stepped away from the North Melbourne head coaching position, which will be filled by Jaymie Graham after he crossed from Fremantle. Buckley's exit from that race has turned focus toward two other clubs.

Brisbane is now linked to Buckley as a candidate to step in for outgoing coach Chris Fagan. Carlton has also been tied to the former Collingwood premiership coach, with reports flagging him as a possible target as the search continues.
