Rogers Communications finalised its acquisition of the final 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.
The deal makes Rogers the exclusive owner of MLSE.
This move increases Rogers' control over the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and additional teams in the company's franchise portfolio.
Multiple outlets verified the finalised transaction on Monday.
Rogers previously held a controlling stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
