The long-running Festival d'Été de Québec closed with strong numbers. Major acts played various stages on Grande-Allée and within Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted an increased number of attendees than ever before. Opening night had minor issues which might have become a bigger problem. Rain showers caused trouble on a handful of days. Still, locals kept turning out despite the setbacks . A simple check after the event showed the majority of people were happy with how it ran, even with the rough patches .
