Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will close for good after administrators received no offers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the fall of the operator, which has left families rushing to find alternative care arrangements.
Administrators managed to sell some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 received no bids. Parents have been given minimal notice to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown proceeds.
