The Prince of Wales visited in July 2023 to view the nursery extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Funds from the Duchy support the Duke’s public, private, and charitable activities. The nursery lies within the Duchy estate forming a key estate operation within Duchy lands that opened to the public in 1975. The site has grown through a 50-year plan. Awards and recognition accompany the nursery. Duchy of Cornwall Nursery continues to expand facilities including a new extension and maintains a focus on nature and horticulture.
