Daniel Tupou recorded his 300th NRL appearance for the Sydney Roosters historic club against the Parramatta Eels rivals last Saturday. The milestone was highlighted in several places nationwide. NRL.com, News.com.au and the Roosters’ social media pages all cited it.
The Roosters held back veterans to manage load for the match. Tedesco, Walker and Robson sat out the regulars. Stand-in player Pezut filled Moses’ spot in the lineup a rookie. The side also deployed younger talent to the mix. Tupou now sits among the club’s exclusive 300-game group for the club.
