Chase Elliott ran into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He finished in 26th place. The car sustained a hard impact but Elliott stated the damage was minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman revealed he will step away after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a spot that may be offered to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only mentioned Bowman after his own crash, without discussing driver reshuffle.
