Sandy, an inexperienced eagle took a spill from the precarious nest earlier this week. The bird lost its footing while perched in a towering tree and hit the forest floor. A strategically placed live webcam was rolling and now streams nonstop as scouts and wildlife experts hunt for the eaglet.
Park rangers are closely inspecting the area for any signs injury. The camera has been pulling thousands of viewers from across surrounding areas. It will stay online until the eaglet is found or officially declared missing.
