A high school sophomore at Alkira Secondary College in Cranbourne North was hurt during a fight on July 20, 2026. Sharp weapons were pulled out before the fight began. The teen was taken to the hospital and police have not said how serious the wounds are. A crowd of students was seen shouting seconds before the assault started. Detectives want to interview several suspects and no one has been charged yet. Witnesses reported a crowd of students hollering as a number of suspects were displayed blade weapons.
