The United States won the 2025 Men’s World Championship overcoming Switzerland 1-0 in OT at the Stockholm arena on May 25, 2025, taking the title for the third title and ending a 92-year wait since the year 1933. The tournament was co-hosted by Sweden and Denmark, from May 9-25, 2025, with 16 teams competing in grouped pools. Switzerland reached the final for the second consecutive year without capturing gold.
